Altenew Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello Ladies! Welcome to the Altenew March Release Blog Hop II. + Giveaway event! Special hello if you came from Vicky Papaioannou's blog. ;-)
Altenew released many beautiful and fun stamp sets and coordinating dies. To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to THREE lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew blog by Thursday, March 30th at 11:59pm EST for a chance to win. The winners will be announced on the Altenew blog on Friday, March 31th.

I created a layout using my favourite stamp set from the Release. Altenew Hug Me Stamp Set is super cute. What is more you can purchase instantly with the Hug Me Die Set so nothing can stop you to have tons of fun while creating your own fox die cuts.
The base of my layout is a cut file design by Paige Evans. You can download it for free here.

First time in my life I have tried watercoloring stamped images. I know the result are not perfect, but I really enjoyed to paint the foxes from Altenew Hug Me Stamp Set.

For embellishing I used Altenew Reflection epoxy buttons and different arrows from the Reflection Sticker and Chipboard Sheet. I like to add extra Altenew Glue Tape on the back of the stickers to make sure they won't fall down from the project later. I used some of the cute sentiment stamps from Altenew Half Tone Circle Stamp Set. The date was stamped with Altenew Reflection Roller Stamp. To finish off my project I added cross stitches here & there.

I really hope you like my projects and I could inspire you to fall in love with the new Altenew products. I would like to give away one $30 gift certificate to the Altenew Shop. Just live a comment under this blog post by Thursday, March 30th at 11:59pm EST for a chance to win. Good luck! (I will announce the winner in this blog post.)

Now it's time to move on and visit Kelly Tribout Latevola!

Huge embellishment cluster - Hip Kit Club

Hi there! Last week I was up on the Hip Kit Club blog, the theme was how to use washi in a creative way. To be honest, I was without any ideas, so I decided just to jump into the project and start. The layout was made with lots of products from Crate Paper Oasis, Chasing Dreams and Pink Paislee Oh My Heart collections.

First I choose the papers and the gathered all the coordinating elements such as pink, black&white, yellow embellishment. I really enjoy to create the huge cluster “column”. The February 2017 Hip Kit includes so many gorgeous stickers, die cuts and much more.

When the cluster was ready I grabbed the Pink Paislee – Paige Evans Oh My Heart stickers book from the February 2017 Project Life Kit. In this book you can find a sheet of fun washi stripes. I adhered them on a piece of baker’s twine to create a cute bunting. The bunting gave me the idea to place my title in this way.

I really love the pretty and happy result! I suggest you sometimes go crazy with materials. You don’t need to save them because the next Hip Kit will come so soon!

Spread Your Wings cut file - The Cut Shoppe

Hi Girls! Last week I shared a spring themed layout on The Cut Shoppe blog. For this project I used the gorgeous Spread Your Wings cut file. I love it so much that I cut it out three times to create 3D effect. I chose the Pink Paislee - Paige Evans Oh My Heart collection, because I thought it would fit to my fun scrapbook page idea.

In this photo you can see all the three layers. For the first layer I used the Oh My Heart #10 paper.  I placed them on above each other and fix them with machine stitching. In some places I cut the upper two layers so the wings can "fly" and create the 3D effect.

As I was working with a white cardstock I had a feeling my layout is too empty. First, I added colorful enamel dots and later I enhanced the fun look with tiny paint splatters. For embellishing I used Oh My Heart Puffy Stickers and Chipboard Stickers.

Instead of alpha or word stickers I used a card as a title. I adhered two 2"x2" photo and few chiboard stickers for embellishing. I didn't want to over decorate my layout, as I think the Spread Your Wings butterflies needed to be in the focus.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope find some new ideas here. Find the Spread Your Wings cut file in The Cut Shoppe

Spring Adventure - Hip Kit Club

Hi Girls! I hope you are having a great weekend! Let me make it even better with a February Hip Kit inspration. I started this layout choosing this photo because I love it so much. The colors of the coats fit perfectly the papers from the kit. I was working with the Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams – Collected Paper, Crate Paper – Oasis – Spring Break Paper and Getaway Paper from February Paper Kit.

I created a vertical layout because of the format of the photo. I fussy cut the gorgeous flowers and placed them under the blue stripped paper. For embellishing I used Paige Evans Oh My Heart – Sunshine Thickers and Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams – Phrase Sticker from February Project Life Kit. The pretty birds and gold textil heart are from the Main Kit. I also added cross stitching up and down. I think it makes the layout fun.

I also have a process video! If you have free time, check it out!

This was my project for today! Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!
